Ministry Focus
As a women's ministry within the Anderson-Alexandria Pastorate, the Daughters of Mary are devoted servants of Jesus Christ, actively living out His teachings in our community.
As a non-political women’s service and social ministry of St. Mary Catholic Church, our mission is to nurture the spiritual and communal well-being of our parish and school, support our neighbors, and champion causes that reflect the love and teachings of our Savior.

How We Serve
- Offering comfort and companionship to the sick, lonely, and elderly
- Championing pro-life causes through events like our county fair booth and 40 Days for Life prayer vigils
- Organizing the baby shower donation drive to support those in need
- Engaging in parish and community outreach, including food drives, clothing donations, and providing support for local schools and families
- Caring for and preserving the beauty of the parish grotto
- Providing ongoing support for teachers, staff, students, and their families
- And much more!
These meaningful services reflect the compassion and devotion at the core of our ministry. Each initiative is a testament to our unwavering commitment to serve others and embody the teachings of Jesus Christ in our community.

Spiritual Activities
Spiritual Activities and Events Organized by the Daughters of Mary (DoM) include (but are not limited to):- Rosary at the Grotto
- Parish missions and educational programs
- Pilgrimages to spiritual sites
- Care and maintenance of altar linens and vestments
These events offer enriching opportunities for spiritual growth and strengthen our sense of community, as we strive to live our faith through prayer and devotion.

Social Activities
Social Activities and Events Organized by the Daughters of Mary (DoM) include (but are not limited to):- Parish community gatherings and special commemorations
- Volunteer recognition events to honor those who serve
- Annual parish breakfast
- Card and game nights open to all parishioners
- DoM social gatherings and holiday celebrations
These activities foster fellowship, fun, and connection, bringing our parish family together in joyful and meaningful ways.

How Do I Join?
As a women’s ministry within the Alexandria-Anderson pastorate, the Daughters of Mary (DoM) welcomes all women aged 18 and older who share in our vision and mission.
While there is no mandatory membership fee, we invite a $20 annual donation to help fund our ministry and its initiatives.
Meetings take place on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM in Zimmer Hall, unless otherwise noted. Join us as we come together to make a lasting impact on our community!
